Cadbury's Creme Egg unleash a new flavour - and it's here to make your January better
You know Christmas is well and truly over when shops start peddling Easter merchandise .
While we like to think it's their way of softening the blow, we suspect it's them capitalising on how miserable we all feel post-festive season.
Still, the larger selection of chocolate and confectionery is a welcome addition to the diet-heavy January landscape.
To keep us cheerful and pepped up on sugar, Cadbury's have given the beloved Creme Egg a bit of a make-over (sort of).
Introducing, the OREO EGG.
While the new egg is not a replacement for the Creme Egg, it does offer something different.
The new egg has a delicious Oreo cream and biscuit filling and different packaging.
While the larger sized ones are only available in Canada, bags of small mini-egg sized Oreo eggs are on sale here right now.
A spokesperson for Cadbury said, "We are always innovating our product ranges and there are lots of exciting things to come from the Cadbury brand this year and beyond.
"As part of our Easter range this year we have launched new Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg 'n' Spoon Oreo, which will be available alongside our existing Oreo Easter products including the Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Shell Egg and the Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Easter Egg Sharing Bag."
Easter is already looking good.
