Firecrew come up with Michael Jackson-inspired video - but for a vital reason this Halloween

It's spawned countless imitations and attempts, especially at this spooky time of year.

When the Cambridge Black Watch did their version of Michael Jackson's Thriller, however, it was with good reason.

It's becoming something of a tradition, as this year's Thriller offering is a follow-up to last year's VERY popular video which showed the team cover Step in Time from Mary Poppins.

It's not just simply because the crew feel compelled to dance (though they master a routine many of us still fudge or only attempt after a few drinks).

With Halloween just around the corner, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service have a crucial and potentially message to pass on in their video . Here it is.

What to do this Halloween

  1. Buy costumes from reputable retailers and look for the CE mark .
  2. Supervise children at all times.
  3. And keep costumes away from a source of ignition such as candles and cigarettes.
  4. Use LED tea lights in pumpkin lanterns instead of candles.
  5. If your costume does catch fire remember to STOP, DROP and ROLL.
